Soothing Bell

Meditation

Our day to day life can feel so chaotic. There is a lot to hold with your personal life, with the state of the country, and with the state of the world. Setting time aside to intentionally be still with yourself and your body can aid in mood and body regulation. Trauma has a particular impact on our ability to regulate. The nervous system is filled with stories of betrayals, fears, shame, and wounds. Our body holds the tension of our history and our environment, it is important to care for the part of you that is unwavering.

I provide Loving Kindness meditation from Buddhist metta practice. I also provide a variety of guided visual meditations. Together we will assess what mindfulness skills you are needing and see what might be the best practice for you.

Learning to anchor with breath, finding balance in body, and growing in loving awareness towards the present moment are all skills that can build mind, heart, and will.

Together we will rise and fall with the tides of change and experience. Giving ourselves permission to pause, be still, and remember to breathe.

Mindfulness

Practicing awareness of the present moment. This skill is used in meditation. With practice, one is able to stay connected to the signals of the body and mind.

Soothing Bell

Loving Kindness

This meditation centers around good will towards self, others, and all other-than-human creatures. As a mantra-based practice, it shifts attitudes through incremental

changes.

Embodiment

Following the signals of your body is a skill. Sitting with sensation and feeling takes practice. The reward is knowing yourself more fully as you integrate mind and body as one organism that makes up you.
